Teodosii Spassov is a Bulgarian musician-virtuoso pipe artist. He first began playing jazz on the pipe, while the mixing of folk music with elements of jazz and classics were the basis of almost all of his plays. He developed his own, unique style of play. His performances are an unusual synthesis of traditional folklore, jazz and classical music. In recent years he has been writing music for symphony orchestra and pipe. He plays with folklore ensembles, with famous Bulgarian and foreign musicians, among them are Dimitar Levchev, Milcho Leviev, Yildiz Ibrahimova, Simeon Shterev, Anatoly Vapirov, Petar Ralchev, Stoyan Yankulov-Stundji, Angel Dimitrov, Rumen Toskov, Hristo Yotzov, Peyo Peev Balkan, the group of the Indian percussionist Triloq Gurtu, Rabbi-Abu Khalil, G. Veles, D. Leibman, Enver Izmailov, Arcanchel, Balkan Horses, Miroslav Tadic, Vlatko Stefanovski. In 1995, Newsweek magazine ranks him among the most talented musicians in Eastern Europe. In the "Best of the East" section is noted: "Spasov creates a new musical genre."
